Dear Friends,

We hope you will JOIN Women’s League. We meet the 1st Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Mazur library for bagels, coffee, conversation and future planning.

Women’s League is an affiliate of the synagogue that helps provide funds for our youth, our Religious
School children and furnishes funds for the upkeep of our kosher kitchens, other special programs.

The funds raised by Women’s League help with the following projects:
*Gifts to each Bar and Bat Mitzvah:
Prayer books for the boys and
      Candlesticks for the girls
*Scholarships for summer camp
       Leader’s Training Institute, youth conventions,
conclaves, passport to Israel, and community needs as        requested
*Holiday treats for our school children
Candy apples for Sim Hat Torah,
      Hanuka  candles  and chocolate gelt

Women’s League is responsible for the preparation and delivery of Meals-on-Wheels to those needing this help.

Women’s League sponsors various Tribute Funds:
       Betty Chapnick Kitchen Fund
       Edith Mazur Library Fund
Jacob & Sarah Elbaum Garden Fund
       Women’s League General Fund

The Tree of Life in our Founder’s Hall is a Women’s League project;  we also sponsor kitchen plaques,
children’s plaques and library plaques where donors can list “In Honor of”/”In Memory of,” etc.

We would love to have you be part of this affiliate. We welcome new ideas, interests and volunteers.
