and Lunch 'n Learn

Please join us on April 6 for a Social Action Shabbat service that will include the presentation of our Faith Beyond Walls banner by Executive Director, the Reverend Marylen Stansbery.

Following the service, a Lunch and Learn will be held with guest speaker Judge Richard Teitelman. Recently appointed to the Missouri Supreme Court, Judge Teitelman is the first Jewish member of the state's highest court. Prior to his appointment ot the Missouri Supreme Court, Judge Teitelman sat on the Missouri Court of Appeals where he was only the second Jewish Judge on the Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District. Judge Teitelman served as Director of Legal Services in St. Louis before becoming a judge.

Visually impaired since birth, he also chairs the American Bar Association Commission of Physical Disability Law and is a past board member of the American Foundation for the Blind.

Judge Teitelman has fought injustice throughout his distinguished career.
He was featured in the Feb, 6, 2002 St. Louis Jewish Light as a "Mitzvah Star".

It will be our privilege to hear him speak and to share ideas with him. The charge* for the lunch will be $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for under 13.
