A $5 donation per family is requested. Money will go to The Alice Rubin Fund in support of BSKI's new Tot Shabbat Program.

The Alice Rubin Fund will be used to support
the establishment of, maintain, and enhance a
Tot
Shabbat Program at BSKI.
The target group will be children of pre-school age
(approximately
ages 4-6).
The program will initially be held at least one Saturday a
month during Shabbat services, with the hope that it can be expanded
to additional weeks. The location will be the downstairs Children's Activity
Center (CAC). Activities will include
storytelling,
puppetry,
games and puzzles,
learning about Shabbat and
Jewish holidays,
practicing
simple prayers and the Hebrew alphabet.
The goal will be to have 10-15
children per session.
The Alice Rubin Fund will be used to support the above activities and to help pay for a qualified person to supervise. Parents will be asked to volunteer as aides a minimum of one month out of the year.
