Send a letter to President Bush
from this page
On Friday night I went
to a lecture given by Malcolm Hoenlein, Vice President of the Conference
of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, who has been working
closely with the White House since September 11th.
One of the things he
said was that when President Bush froze the Holy Land Foundation for Relief
and Development, a Muslim "charity" that is actually a front
for Hamas,he got tons of e-mails
from Arabs protesting the decision... but barely any e-mails from Jews
thanking him for taking a
step that could potentially save many lives.
It is crucial that we
show our approval and make our voices heard. President Bush's e-mail
address is: president@whitehouse.gov.
Click on the address here and then copy the text from next paragraph.
Every e-mail sent to
the president is read by somebody,
noted, and counted. The e-mail does not have to be long.
If you don't want to
think one up, here's an option:
Dear
President Bush:
I am writing to express my appreciation for
your decision to freeze the assets of the
Holyland Foundation . It was an action that may
save hundreds of Israeli and, ultimately,
American lives.
Sincerely,
_______________.
As always, please let
your friends know about this.
