Herbicide application, soil testing, and flowerbox assembly
Needed: 6 volunteers (gardeners and carpernters)

Healthy Kids at Play Playground Build
Time: Friday: 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. (lunch provided)
Sunday: 12:00 noon-5:00 p.m. (lunch provided)
Location: Penrose Park (N. Kingshighway and Penrose) St. Louis, MO
Activity: 16th - Preparing for build :preparing ground and unpacking supplies
18th - Assembling equipment for the playground
Faith Beyond Walls joins in partnership with St. Louis Children's Hospital
and Penrose neighborhood organizations to provide volunteers for this project.

3. The University of Missouri Outreach and Extension and Faith Beyond Walls
are pleased to invite you to the 2003 Spring Gardening Series. Session will
be help on Tuesdays (April 15, 22, 29) 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., at the St. Louis
Extension Center, 121 S. Meramec, Suite 501, in Clayton. $20.00 fee covers
all sessions plus summer and fall training series. After completion of the
training, participants will be required to give back 10 hours per year volunteer
time to identified Faith Beyond Wall community beautification projects.
These sessions will provide training and information on gardening. Registration
deadline is April 7.
