Shabbat Programs

Tish and Dish
Take a break during the Shabbat morning service to participate in an informal discussion of the weekly Torah portion. Discussion is led by Rabbi Mordecai Miller. Light refreshments are served. After the discussion services are concluded and followed by a kiddush. Check the calendar for dates.
A Capella Shabbat
Start with Kabbalat Panim (welcome in Hebrew) for a social gathering before the Friday night service. Enjoy appetizers, wine, spirits and soft drinks before participating in a musical service for all ages. The BSKI A Capella Choir encourages everyone to participate in the singing and dancing. Make a reservation to stay for dinner (we charge for the dinner) or just come for the complementary appetizers and the service. Check the calendar for dates.
Torah Talk
Monthly discussion group following services led by congregant Helene Frankel. Participate in a thought provoking discussion of the weekly parsha. Check the calendar for dates.
Junior Congregation
Weekly Shabbat morning services at 10:30am for children ages 7ish and up.
Tot Shabbat
Weekly Shabbat morning services at 10:30am for children ages 6ish and under. Songs, snacks and playtime.
Shabbat Family Initiative
Family service for parents, grandparents and kids of all ages.
Learners' Service
Educational service including in-depth explanation of parts of the service. Teaching is led by Rabbi Mordecai Miller.
Religious Services
Services are held every Shabbat on Friday Night, Saturday Morning, Saturday Afternoon/Evening, Havdalah, Sueda Sh'lishit.

This program has been in initiated due to the increase in the price of Food Baskets
