Stuffed Cabbage

Large Head of Cabbage

Pounds of Ground Beef

Cup of raw Rice

Cup of Craisins
Salt and Pepper to taste
Sauce:
1 1/2
Cups Sugar

Large Onions

16 Ounce can of Tomato Sauce
1
16 Ounce can of Crushed Tomatoes
1
Tablespoon of Lemon Juice

Core Cabbage and steam for about 5-10 minutes. set aside and cool. reserve liquid.
Mix Ground Beef with Rice, Craisins, Salt and Pepper.
Place about 1/3 cup of filling in a whole Cabbage leaf and fold the edges in as you loosely roll them.
Place the rolls on a bed of sliced Onions in a Dutch oven pot. layer the rolls in the pot until all the filling is used.
Mix Sugar, Onions, Tomato Sauce, Crushed Tomatoes and
Lemon Juice in saucepan and cook 10 minutes.
Pour sauce over cabbage rolls and cook for 1 hour. Transfer into baking dish and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Serves about 8.
