TOT SHABBAT SPONSORS PARENT PROGRAM
ON CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

On Sunday morning, September 17
Tot Shabbat will commemorate its second year by sponsoring a program on "Mensch Building: Raising Kids of Character". The program will begin at 10:00 AM in the auditorium.

Mensches are built not born. Parents need to know how to raise children of character.
Psychology has much to teach us about effective parenting in general and parenting for character in particular.

The speaker will be Dr.Marvin Berkowitz.


Dr. Berkowitz is the inaugural Sanford N. McDonnell Endowed Professor of Character Education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and Co-Director of the Center for Character and Citizenship Education.

Relying on his book "Parenting for Good", Dr. Berkowitz will discuss parenting strategies that build mensches.

This program should be of interest to parents of
young children and to all parents.
